Jesus
Learn Who He is, of His love for you and how He can transform your life
The question for every life regarding Jesus Christ that we all must answer was asked by Jesus himself. Jesus asked this question: “But whom say ye that I am?” (Mark 8:27) The Word of God gives us the knowledge and the wisdom to know who Jesus is and why it is so important for us to have a relationship with Him.
Jesus Matters
Realize These Four Truths.
God chose Jesus to introduce you to himself but first he wants you to know a few things about yourself.
First, Realize that you are loved by God.
In the Bible we learn that God loves everyone regardless of their background, race, age or any other factor. God loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you.
(Joh 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Second, realize that everyone is a sinner.
(Rom 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
No one is perfect therefore no one is without sin. We have all broken God’s commandments. This is called sin. The Bible says that this separates us from God.
(Isa 59:1 -2) Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.>
Third, realize there is a price to be paid for sin.
The wages for sin is death. This includes eternal separation from God in a place called hell.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23)
Finally, realize that Jesus died to pay for your sin.
The Bible teaches us that Jesus died on the cross, not for his sins, but for the sins of the whole world. If you believe on Him He can and will save you today and take you to heaven when you die. He has power over the grave as demonstrated in his resurrection.
(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(John 11:25) Jesus said…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Trust Jesus
What you just read above is a promise direct from God that you can claim as your own. You can now enter into a new life with Jesus where he will guide you with the Holy Spirit by doing the following.
Step 1 – Repent & Trust Jesus
Step 2 – Pray something like this.
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you died, were buried and rose again as the full payment for all my sin. Right now, as best as I know how I’m trusting You to forgive me and save me from my sins. Thank you for saving me, Amen.
Step 3 – Follow Jesus
If you just prayed that prayer and you are now believing in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins then let us be the first to welcome you into the Family of God!
